Free Money Advice from Steven
We offer a free money advice service for our residents that helps them to feel free from money struggles and worries. We can offer advice and assistance with:
Debts
Many people struggle with debt and aren’t aware of the tools, guidance and options that are available to help – our practical advice can help you take back to control and get started on your debt free journey.
Benefits and Universal Credit Advice
The benefits system can be confusing – we’ve helped many people understand what they are entitled to and offered practical support to help them make a claim and appeal decisions.
Budgeting
We can help you to understand the money you have coming in and the money leaving your account. We can also help you find ways to save money on bills and shopping to help you have more pounds in your pocket every month.
In the last 12 months, we helped 125 residents access information and advice on benefits and debt – helping them gain a total of £302,352.40 in additional benefits, grants or money saved on debt repayments.
