Warrington’s Home Information and Improvement Agency (WHiA) is a non-profit advisory service here to help and support you through the whole process of any work you may wish to undertake for older, disabled or vulnerable people and families on low incomes who own their own homes or live in private rented accommodation and wish to repair, improve or adapt their homes.
We can help with small repairs and maintenance, both internal and external decorating, new bathrooms, kitchens, plumbing and electrical work, gardening and emergency repairs.
We have a team of in-house handypersons and a range of trusted contractors.
Our Technical Officer can offer independent and impartial advice on the works that you are considering. He can advise on the best course of action and draw up the requirements so that we can obtain prices from trusted contractors. This advice is free until you decide to proceed with the work.
