To celebrate International Friendship Day Warrington Housing Association is hosting a Mad Hatter’s tea party – to get all generations together.
We want you to join us on Tuesday, August 14, at our free event at Lyons Court, Latchford, whether you are 8 or 80.

Here at WHA, we know how important it is to form friendships to live healthy lives – that’s why we are planning to hold an intergenerational afternoon tea party where Warrington folk, old and young, can come and enjoy tea, cake and chat!

The event is being hosted jointly by WHA and our LifeTime service runs more than 60 activities for people aged 50 and over across Warrington.

Andrea Rees, LifeTime Officer, said: “We are excited to see what conversations and friendships can be created by bringing together people from Warrington of all ages, whether that is the young teaching the old about new technologies and trends, or the old passing on their life experience to the younger generations.

“Our aim is to bring a sense of a community back into Warrington to help to make Warrington a happy and safe place to live.”
