As Warrington Housing Association participate in national Net Zero Week 11-15th October that TPAS and PlaceShapers are hosting, we spoke to one of our customers about how she had benefitted from Warrington Housing Association fitting solar panels to all the properties at Ashley Close 6 years ago.
Customer Tracy Smith says how happy she was when Warrington Housing Association invested in fitting solar panels to her home in Ashley Close, Grappenhall, Warrington.
Tracy has lived in her home at Ashley Close since they were built 28 years ago and said that the addition of the solar panels 6 years ago has benefitted the residents of Ashley Close with them seeing a reduction in their electricity bills that has in turn helped the customers with their personal finances and budgeting. Tracy said ‘I was pleased that Warrington Housing Association put the solar panels on our homes as we all have storage heaters to heat our homes and it can be expensive. To see a reduction in our bills has really helped us as a family’
Tracy went on to say how happy she living at Ashley Close ‘I can honestly say Warrington Housing Association are a great landlord and I feel they are always looking to improve our homes for the better’
