The Experienced Housing Officer role will be pivotal in enhancing this offer as we continue to move forward, you will be part of an essential team within WHA whose role is to deliver and improve the customer experience. Housing Officer Requirements: The successful candidate will be educated to A level and/or relevant experience. You should be qualified to a minimum level 3 (or equivalent) in English and Math’s and hold an IT Qualification or evidence of well-developed IT skills. You will have experience of delivering an excellent housing related customer focused service within the social housing sector, including the management of lettings, retirement scheme management, income collection, tenancy management, ASB and estate management. You will need to demonstrate a strong track record of delivering excellent housing related customer service, working autonomously day to day to resolve complex problems and make decisions. You will be confident and able to manage a varied workload to achieve challenging performance targets. The successful candidate will be resilient and have the ability to contribute proactively to performance, community outcomes and deal with challenging situations with confidence. You will have a can-do attitude whilst being able to show compassion and empathy, keeping the customer at the heart of everything you do.
