" to make Warrington a great place to live, with people at the heart of our work "

Warrington Housing Association is a local community based association working throughout the Borough of Warrington in Cheshire.

We own over 1260 varied homes, providing housing for families, single people and sheltered housing for the elderly in addition to accommodation designed and managed for people with particular care and support needs.

We work with many local and national agencies to make Warrington a great place to live, with people at the heart of our work.

The association is also the managing agent of Warrington Home Information and Improvement Agency (WHiA) which is a non-profit advisory service for older, disabled or vulnerable people and families on low incomes who own their own homes or live in private rented accommodation and wish to repair, improve or adapt their homes.  Information on WHiA is available on their website at www.whia.org.uk

Warrington Housing Association and WHiA are based at the Gateway on Sankey Street in Warrington.

The story of the Gateway is below and opens in a new window.
